Hurricane season Depending on your location hurricanes can appear at different times of the year.For example, if you live near or in the Atlantic Basin, you may start to see hurricanes form around the beginning of June toward the end of November.In the Eastern area of the pacific, hurricanes begin to form earlier then in the Atlantic. These hurricanes start to appear in mid-May also ending toward the end of November.The Northeastern Pacific's hurricane season starts and ends the same as the Eastern Pacific.In the North Indian Basin hurricanes start in April and ends in December. The last part of the world with a hurricane season the Southwest Indian Basin hurricane season starts in October ending in may.

During a certain time of the year it is more common to expect hurricanes then at other times.From August to October it is claimed to be the most dangerous time of the year for hurricane. This is because, from this time of the year hurricane activity and formation is at its most active state.In other times of the year such as, winter hurricane activity isn't very active,but may be considered non-existent.Between both of those times hurricane activity is fairly normal throughout its time.
